Not only do service and fundraising events help your community and various organizations like the ZTA Foundation, but they also provide great programming opportunities for your alumnae chapter and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood.
Many alumnae chapters hold annual fund raising events like aquacizing, selling Exam Survival kits to parents, silent auctions, garage sales, collecting Yoplait lids, the Crystal Ball, plant sales and karaoke contests.
Alumnae chapters also take time to participate in service projects like backpack and school supply drives, Valentines for cancer patients and military members, gathering emergency kits for women's shelters, staffing the Survivors Tent at the Race for the Cure, preparing dinner for families at Ronald McDonald houses, and Toys for Tots.
Log into the Sisters Only site to download instructions for a Tea Parties project, Letters to Santa and other programs that will help you raise funds. These documents can be found in the Resource Library, under Programming/Fifth Link (Alumnae).
