Position Title: Collegiate Services Manager

Reporting Relationship: Senior Director of Membership Services

Non-exempt, hourly, full-time

Position Location: Carmel, Indiana

Summary: The Collegiate Services Manager provides support to collegiate chapters, and the volunteers who work with them, in all areas of chapter operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related field, preferably within higher education, Fraternity/Sorority life office, or headquarters staff
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
  • Proactive, self-directed approach to tasks and ability to independently solve problems
  • Strong, proven written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with CRM systems or membership database
  • Membership in Zeta Tau Alpha and/or knowledge of fraternities/sororities preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff members and manage the daily operations of the Collegiate Services team.
  • Serve as staff liaison to National Council and Collegiate National Officers on chapter-related items.
  • Directly support Vice President(s) Collegiate and Extension Director in monitoring and tracking collegiate chapter health.
  • Directly support the Extension Director to manage and execute extension and new chapter development efforts from application through installation.
  • Serve as escalation point for inquiries from university administrators, chapter members, advisors, alumnae and parents on chapter and non-risk related issues. Work with the appropriate staff and volunteer to find resolution.
  • Monitor statistics and membership data for chapters and provide data analysis to collegiate volunteers and chapters to maximize chapter success.
  • Remain current on collegiate trends and best practices used on college campuses and by National Panhellenic Conference member organizations.
  • Partner with Communication Department to prepare and review collegiate-specific communications as appropriate.
  • Manage the collegiate award process for national chapter awards, including those awarded at major events.
  • Act as liaison and point of contact for chapter-facing platforms, including but not limited to OmegaOne, OmegaRecruit, OmegaElect and ZetaBase.
  • Travel to events or conferences throughout the year as requested.
