Position Title: Education & Resources Coordinator
Reporting Relationship: Director of Education & Engagement
Position Status: Non-exempt, hourly, full-time
Position Location: Carmel, Indiana
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director and National Council, the Education & Resources Coordinator will develop, implement and update educational resources and initiatives aligning with the mission and goals of ZTA for collegiate and alumnae members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in a related field (e.g., student affairs, education, higher education, etc.) preferred
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience recommended (graduate assistantships or internships considered), preferably in higher education, leading educational training, curriculum development or the fraternity/sorority field
- Knowledge of student development theory and adult learning theory
- Strong written and oral communication skills, curriculum/program development experience, critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability and willingness to learn new technology
- Prior association or fraternity experience preferred; Zeta Tau Alpha membership preferred
Responsibilities
- Create and organize specific best-in-class education and programs in accordance with the mission, Creed and goals of the Fraternity.
- Update educational guides, manuals and newsletters as needed, ensuring that resources stay relevant and meet ZTA policies and standards.
- Develop e-learning workshops to meet Fraternity needs, including officer, advisor and volunteer training and education.
- Manage the annual membership survey cycle, from implementation to analysis.
- Manage ZTA’s online learning platforms as the learning management system and webinar administrator and work with individual vendors.
- Assist with in-person and virtual events, working with volunteers to create and execute training and education as well as assist with logistics.
- Manage communication and execution of Fraternity programs as needed.
- Be a representative and/or facilitator for the Fraternity at local, regional and national meetings and events as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
