Position Status: Exempt, Salary, Full-Time

Location: Carmel, IN (remote considered)

Position Summary: The Growth and Development Coordinator is part of the Education Department. The role develops and delivers educational programming to ZTA collegiate chapters nationwide by identifying chapters’ areas of challenge and tailoring workshops based on chapters’ specific needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Zeta Tau Alpha membership strongly preferred
  • Availability to travel 40% annually to ZTA chapters across the country
  • Ability to speak comfortably to a variety of group sizes

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update and personalize educational curriculum for workshops addressing recruitment, retention, sisterhood and belonging, and leadership development.
  • Deliver in-person or virtual educational workshops based on collegiate chapters’ needs.
  • Coordinate and manage personal workshop travel reservations, completing all bookings at least six weeks before each visit.
  • Manage expenses within a budget, as set by ZTA’s Secretary-Treasurer. ZTA-covered expenses include transportation, lodging and meals.
  • Update educational resources as necessary, ensuring that programs stay relevant and meet the needs of ZTA chapters.
  • Support Fraternity growth efforts through extension, recruitment and the Continuous Open Bidding process.
  • Coach chapter leaders through in-person and virtual support related to the topics of recruitment, retention, sisterhood and belonging, and leadership development.
  • Communicate promptly with collegiate officers, advisors, National Officers and ZTA staff.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the program curriculum and coaching efforts through pre- and post-surveys. Review chapter membership data post-workshop.
  • Serve as a representative and/or facilitator for the Fraternity at local, regional, and national meetings and events as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
