Position Title: Shipping Coordinator

Reporting Relationship: Merchandise Manager

Position Status: Non-exempt, hourly, full-time

Position Location: Carmel, Indiana

Position Summary: The Shipping Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring ZTA International Office functions in an orderly, responsive and efficient fashion. This person manages all shipping and receiving, Crown & Co ZTA’s online store, chapter and individual shipments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School diploma, with at least two years’ experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; sit, stand and move regularly
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Database experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all shipping from and receiving to International Office, including but not limited to receiving packages, taking inventory for accuracy, fulfilling orders and maintaining an organized space for all departments.
  • Support all functions of Crown & Co.
  • Assist with website inventory and product setup.
  • Manage physical inventory and update counts within ZTA’s software systems.
  • Fulfill orders for customers daily.
  • Track orders for customers and assist with online shopping questions.
  • Inspect all inventory for quality assurance.
  • Maintain the physical space, with organization and efficient use of space in mind.
  • Provide cross-department support for large projects, such as the ZTA Foundation Think Pink® mailing and mass shipments to national-level ZTA events (e.g., Convention, Officer Leadership Academy, Zeta Day).
  • Maintain a safe environment in the IO mailroom and keep an accurate inventory of off-site storage areas.
