ZTA seeks to be an active, responsible partner on campus. Our chapters would not be able to succeed without the guidance and support of dedicated university professionals, and we would like to give back by providing resources and professional development to enhance fraternity and sorority communities across the country.
Professional Development Opportunities
The following resources have been provided or sponsored by ZTA and are available to all university professionals.
- Advance U: This virtual classroom through the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors provides monthly seminars that range from new skill development to application of high-level concepts, facilitated by experts in higher education.
- Hart Institute for Social Event Planning: This two-day program educates fraternity/sorority professionals on how to help students plan safe and successful social events.
- My Sister, My Responsibility®: This award-winning program includes workshops available for any campus to use focused on drug abuse prevention, hazing, inclusion and belonging, sexual assault and alcohol education with 27 workshops. Modules include:
- Generation Rx
- Preventing and Confronting Hazing
- Seeking Understanding
- Sisterhood, Safety and Support
- Teaching Social Responsibility
- Generation Rx grant: This grant is offered through a partnership between the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, Generation Rx, and the Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Drug Misuse Prevention and Recovery to advance educational efforts on college campuses toward instilling safe medication practices among students that are members of fraternities and sororities. It supports the dissemination and use of “Generation Rx University” educational resources about general safe medication practices, as well as specific programming to prevent stimulant and opioid misuse.
- Harm reduction Posters and Educational Videos: These resources are workshops and conversations you can start on your campus.
