IO Staff Temporarily Going Remote
Starting Monday, March 16, International Office staff will practice social distancing and work remotely.
We were preparing for this possibility all last week. The declarations of emergency by the Governor of Indiana and the Mayor of Indianapolis and sweeping closures of schools in the state made the decision clear. Nearly all fraternity/sorority offices are moving to remote work as well. We are all working together to flatten the curve.
How does this affect operations?
- You are still able to call the IO number (317) 872-0540 and be transferred to staff members.
- All staff members will work 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
- An essential team will staff critical business operations.
- We will print and mail checks once each week.
- We will receive mail every day and receive and ship packages on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We will adjust if restrictions or services of vendors change.
“I want to thank our entire membership, our vendors and friends for their support throughout this unique situation. We will continue to share updates as the situation warrants,” said Executive Director Meghan Parker. “We are all trying to do what’s right for our staff, volunteers, members, friends and families. Through it all, our sisterhood will provide encouragement and strength to get us through.”
