New ZTA Foundation board elected at Convention
The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation celebrated the service of two retiring board members before electing its new board of directors at its meeting during Convention 2022 in July.
During the Think Pink® lunch on Friday, July 15, ZTA Foundation President Carolyn Hof Carpenter recognized retiring Foundation board members Sherry Server Tilley, Vice President of Philanthropy, and Catherine G. Slaughter, Vice President of ScholarshipThese dedicated women have helped shape the Foundation in immeasurable ways during their combined 56 years of service on the board.
“It’s difficult to think about our scholarship program without thinking of Cathy. And you really can’t Think Pink without thinking of Sherry,” said Mrs. Carpenter. “These women have become synonymous with their positions because they have faithfully shepherded and grown these programs into ZTA powerhouses.”
Mrs. Carpenter closed her remarks by announcing the establishment of the Catherine G. Slaughter Endowed Scholarship and the Sherry Server Tilley Endowed Scholarship funds.
Later that day, the ZTA Foundation board announced its newly elected board.

National President Dinah Jackson Laughery, Secretary-Treasurer Shannon Ferguson, Fraternity Housing Corporation President Natalie Yingling Lisko and FHC VP Operations Casey Guimbellot Pash also serve on the Foundation board by virtue of their elected offices.
