New ZTA Foundation board elected at Convention 2024
The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation celebrated the service of two retiring board members before electing its new board of directors at its meeting during Convention 2024 in Indianapolis last week.
During the Think Pink® lunch on Friday, July 19, ZTA Foundation President Carolyn Hof Carpenter recognized retiring Foundation board members Foundation Director Nora Nell Hardy Jackson and Vice President of Alumnae Development Cynthia Byars Courtney. These dedicated women have helped shape the Foundation in immeasurable ways during their tenure.
“Nora Nell and Cynthia exemplify lifelong service to Zeta Tau Alpha,” Mrs. Carpenter said. “They have both served on National Council, the Fraternity Housing Corporation and the Foundation. Their combined service to the Foundation alone equates to 45 years. Talk about steadfast and strong!”
Mrs. Carpenter closed her remarks by announcing additional funding for the Nora Nell Hardy Jackson Endowed Scholarship and the establishment of the Cynthia Byars Courtney Endowed Scholarship.
Later that day, the ZTA Foundation board announced its newly elected board.
