Nominate an Outstanding Alumna
The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation invites you to submit a nomination for the Outstanding Alumna Award. This biennial award presented at Convention recognizes an alumna who has shown exceptional leadership in her chosen profession, achieved significant accomplishments and made notable contributions to society.
Past recipients include leaders and pioneers in journalism, higher education, engineering, business, technology, innovation, music, philanthropy and the military. Many recipients have also served ZTA in their post-collegiate years, but that is not a requirement for the award.
To nominate a deserving ZTA, you will need to create an account in SmarterSelect.
Before you begin the nomination process, you will want to gather personal information about your nominee including her collegiate chapter, current mailing address, email address and phone number, current and past professional positions, community involvement, and maiden name. (Note: The maiden name allows the IO staff to confirm your nominee is in good standing with ZTA.)
The nomination form also includes space for longer descriptions about your nominee’s professional leadership, significant accomplishments, contributions to her community and ZTA involvement. You can link news articles or other documentation about the nominee’s achievements as well. Please combine all supporting documents into one file.
You will be able to save your nomination form and return to it; you do not have to complete it in one sitting.
The deadline for submitting your application is Friday, Dec. 20. If you have any questions about the process, please contact Foundation Project Manager Jourdan Rogers.
The Foundation appreciates your help in identifying our sisters who are making a difference within and without our circle, and we thank you for your own outstanding loyalty to Zeta Tau Alpha.
