Zeta Tau Alpha regrets to announce the closing of our Lambda Mu Chapter at University of South Carolina Beaufort in Bluffton, South Carolina, effective immediately.

The chapter has seen a continued decrease in membership due to declining interest in fraternity/sorority life on campus. While ZTA’s national leadership and staff have worked with the chapter to rebuild, these attempts have been unsuccessful.

“A chapter must be able to sustain and grow its membership in order to provide a complete and positive ZTA experience,” National President Dinah Jackson Laughery said. “ZTA supports our Lambda Mu Chapter sisters as they now begin their individual journeys as ZTA alumnae.”

Lambda Mu Chapter was installed at University of South Carolina Beaufort on April 11, 2015, as the 250th link in ZTA’s Chain of Chapters.
