National Council Slate 2026-2028

The initial step in seeking a slate of nominees for National Council for the 2026–2028 biennium was to determine the willingness of incumbent members to continue serving.

Dinah Jackson Laughery, National President; Shannon Ferguson, Secretary-Treasurer; Dr. Katie Peoples Zamulinsky, NPC Delegate; Kery Reinkemyer Webb, Vice President Alumnae I; and Barb Chang-Holt, Vice President Alumnae II, have indicated they will retire from National Council at the end of their terms.

On behalf of the Fraternity, we thank these devoted sisters for their leadership and dedication to the ideals of Zeta Tau Alpha. Their service has enriched the Fraternity greatly.

Based on the recommendations of our membership, and after careful assessment of the qualifications and Fraternity experience of the endorsed nominees, the Nominating Committee is proud to present the following slate:

Each slated nominee has expressed willingness to assume the responsibilities of her designated office.

Stancy Robinson Hagans
Gamma Tau Chapter, Texas Tech University
Slated as National President

Stancy was elected Vice President Collegiate II at Convention 2022 and served two terms in this role. Under her leadership, chapters in Area II developed a stronger understanding of retention, and 95% consistently reached Total. Known for her integrity, consistency, and forward-thinking mindset, Stancy brings a clear vision for the future of the Fraternity and a deep commitment to strengthening the member experience at every level.

Prior to serving on National Council, Stancy served as Province President XI-A for 10 years. She was also an instrumental member of the National Recruitment Committee, helping to write the Guide to Recruitment and Retention. Her national service includes roles as an OLA facilitator, NLC/ELA facilitator, a member of the National Membership Review Committee, and a member of the extension team for the UT Tyler extension. Stancy is an advocate for the alumnae experience and has held most alumnae chapter officer roles.

Stancy earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations, with a minor in marketing, from Texas Tech University, where she met her husband, Chris. They live in Prosper, Texas, and have three children: Casen, Shae, and Jace.

Lea' Chrisman Williams
Zeta Xi Chapter, Georgia Southern University
Slated as Vice President Alumnae I

Lea’ Chrisman Williams’ dedication to ZTA as a leader in both the alumnae and collegiate experiences has prepared her well to serve on National Council. Known for her energy, strategic thinking, and commitment to building meaningful connections, Lea’ brings a passion for strengthening engagement across all stages of membership.

She served nationally as District President VII-B for seven years and shared her expertise as a Training Committee member, focusing on ANO training. Lea’ was also an Alumnae Recruitment Coordinator, RFM Review Member, OLA facilitator, Collegiate Recruitment Ambassador, and “Bridging the Gap” Committee member. Most recently, Lea’ spearheaded a national pilot program designed to connect alumnae with new members. She also served on the Iota Tau Extension Team and has held numerous local alumnae officer and committee roles.

Lea’ studied anthropology and English at Georgia Southern University. She manages a thriving retail business and is actively involved in the Service League and PTA in her community.

Lea’ and her husband, Zach, live in Statesboro, Georgia, with their daughter, Charlie, and son, Huck.

Paislea Wallstein Stolarski
Theta Eta Chapter, Stephen F. Austin State University
Slated as Vice President Alumnae II

Paislea’s leadership experience and dedication to strengthening alumnae engagement make her well-suited to serve on National Council. She brings creativity and a fresh perspective to supporting members as they transition from the collegiate experience to alumnae life, along with a strong commitment to fostering meaningful connections across the sisterhood.

She currently serves as Alumnae National Officer XI-E and as a member of the ZTA Foundation Alumnae Development Committee. Previously, Paislea was on the Alumnae Engagement Committee and held numerous officer roles, including President, in the Houston Northwest, TX Alumnae Chapter for nearly 20 years. She also served as President of the Northwest Harris County Alumnae Panhellenic. Paislea has experience supporting collegiate chapters as a Fundraising Advisor, Local Housing Corporation President, Judicial Advisor, and General Advisor.

Paislea holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in business management and is a district sales manager for AstraZeneca. She is a four-time President’s Club winner, volunteers as president of the Centrum Arts League in Houston, and serves in the Leadership Tomball organization supporting the school district.

Paislea and her husband, Kyle, have one child, Everett, and live in Tomball, Texas.

Meredith Harris Braselman
Delta Lambda Chapter, Georgia State University
Slated as Vice President Collegiate I

Meredith has served as Vice President Collegiate Area I since March 2023. She is a strong advocate for her chapters and consistently demonstrates thoughtful leadership in guiding and supporting her Collegiate National Officer team. Known for her attention to detail and ability to balance big-picture strategy with chapter-level needs, Meredith builds meaningful connections with collegians and volunteers alike.

Prior to joining National Council, Meredith served six years as Province President III-B and five years as Director of New Chapters for Alpha Zeta Chapter at The Ohio State University. She has also held multiple advising roles and served as a member of the Training Committee, a Collegiate Recruitment Ambassador Director, and a Harm Reduction Mentor.

Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree in music management from Georgia State University and is currently a partner with ICF Next, where she leads strategic communications efforts for federal agencies. Meredith and her husband, Evon, who is a Delta Sigma Phi, live in Alexandria, Virginia, with their son, Ian, and daughter, Alex.

Amber LeVan Pickard
Gamma Rho Chapter, Auburn University
Slated as Vice President Collegiate II

Amber brings nearly 12 years of experience supporting collegiate chapters to National Council. She is known for her steady leadership, thoughtful guidance, and commitment to developing strong, confident chapter leaders. Amber leads with both empathy and accountability, and her willingness to challenge the process when needed allows her to strengthen chapters while focusing on what is best for the member experience.

Amber began serving ZTA as local advisor shortly after graduation and has since worked closely with collegians across Province IX-B, supporting chapters of all sizes and developing a strong understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities. She has also served on the National Recruitment Committee for two years. She has extensive experience with large-scale chapter recruitment and has a passion for mentoring young women.

Amber earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in secondary education (general social science) and is currently an upper school assistant principal and teacher at Lee-Scott Academy. A recognized educator, she received the Secondary Teacher of the Year award for Lee County Schools.

Amber lives with her husband, Landon, and their children, Grayson and Harris, in Auburn, Alabama.

Jacque Green Lish

eta Nu Chapter, New Mexico State University
Slated as Vice President Collegiate III

Jacque currently serves as Vice President Collegiate Area III and has more than 15 years of experience helping collegiate chapters navigate all areas of college life. She leads with discernment and empathy while encouraging collaboration among chapter leaders. Her astute problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and results-oriented decision-making allow her to approach challenges with kindness, candor, and fairness.

She is a passionate advocate for recruitment success and accountability across Area III. Jacque traveled as a Leadership Consultant for ZTA for two years, served as Province President XVIII-B for three years, and was a Mentor for Alpha Psi Chapter (University of Missouri). She excels at helping collegiate chapters reduce risk, having served as National Risk Reduction Committee Chair, an ASTP facilitator, and a Harm Reduction Mentor.

Jacque earned her Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education and her Master of Business Administration from New Mexico State University. She is currently assistant director of marketing and communication for the Division of Enrollment Management at the University of New Mexico.

Jacque lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her husband, Rex, and their daughter, Reese.

Karla Lundgren Wheeler
Psi Chapter, University of Washington
Slated as Vice President Growth & Development

Karla was elected Extension Director at Convention 2022, a role in which she has led the reestablishment of five chapters across all three collegiate areas. With more than 20 years of national service, including roles as Leadership Consultant, Province President, Fraternity Housing Corporation Director, and Director of New Chapters, Karla brings a collaborative leadership style and a passion for focusing on solutions that create positive change. This expertise will continue to strengthen and advance the Fraternity’s growth and development.

In addition to Karla’s successful extension efforts, her national service also includes time on the National Recruitment Committee and Alumnae-Collegiate Relations Committee, along with extensive experience as a collegiate advisor and alumnae chapter officer. In 2022, she was awarded the Vivian Ulmer Smith Recruitment Award as a part of the Virtual Recruitment Task Force. Karla has a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the member experience, allowing her to effectively support new and existing chapters in building their recruitment success.

Karla earned a bachelor’s degree in editorial journalism and English literature from University of Washington and is a senior recruiter for The Walt Disney Company. She and her husband, Bryan, live in Orondo, Washington, and have two young adult sons, Austin and Zach, both of whom are members of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Leanne Puia
Zeta Lambda Chapter, Rider University
Slated as Vice President Operations

Leanne has nearly a decade of service as a Collegiate National Officer in Areas I and III. Her extensive experience supporting our chapters has prepared her well to help guide the Fraternity’s operational strategy and evolving committee structure. Known for her systems-focused thinking and ability to lead teams effectively, Leanne brings a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach to strengthening core Fraternity functions.

Leanne has served in key national roles since 2015, including Province President I-A and Director of New Chapters for two different chapters. She has facilitated multiple Leadership Academies and ASTP programs and has participated in seven new chapter extensions. Locally, she has served as a chapter advisor, alumnae chapter President, and Vice President Membership for two alumnae chapters, giving her a broad understanding of member needs.

Leanne earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and Spanish from Rider University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Quinnipiac University. She currently works as the senior manager of national accounts at Indeed. Leanne also volunteers as the senior director of programs for Karma Cat Rescue Society.

Leanne and her boyfriend, Chris, live in Kendall Park, New Jersey.

Cheron Pitts White
Eta Rho Chapter, The University of North Alabama
Slated as Vice President Panhellenic Relations

Cheron brings more than 20 years of dedicated service to ZTA at the national, local, and Panhellenic levels. She is currently ZTA’s National Panhellenic Conference Coordinator for Area II and an Area Advisor Coordinator for NPC. Known for her strategic insight and collaborative leadership, she is respected by her peers for her depth of Panhellenic knowledge and her long-standing commitment to strengthening the sorority experience.

Cheron began her national service as a Leadership Consultant from 1998-1999 and has since held nearly every collegiate advising role, including a decade as General Advisor for Eta Rho Chapter. She has served as an NPC Area Advisor, Province President IX-A, National Recruitment Committee member, and RFM Analysis Committee Member. The multiple alumnae chapter officer positions she’s held give her a comprehensive understanding of member needs and reinforce the importance of the Panhellenic community.

Cheron graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in communication arts from University of North Alabama. She has nearly two decades of experience with Eli Lilly and Company, where she currently serves as a senior executive territory manager in the oncology division. She and her husband, Blair, live in Florence, Alabama, with their son, Luke.
