Zeta Tau Alpha closes Alpha Beta Chapter at University of Pennsylvania

With a heavy heart, Zeta Tau Alpha announces the closing of our Alpha Beta Chapter at University of Pennsylvania, effective Dec. 18, 2025.

Zeta Tau Alpha’s commitment to ensuring a positive member experience is at the forefront of every decision we make. ZTA’s national volunteer leadership and staff have devoted extensive support, resources, and guidance to the chapter in an effort to increase participation and maintain long-term stability. Despite the efforts of support from the Fraternity, it is apparent the chapter will be unable to meet these expectations.

The closing of any chapter is extremely difficult and sad for our entire sisterhood. We welcome Alpha Beta members into alumnae life and look forward to their continued involvement as a reminder that Zeta Is Forever.

Founded in 1918 and reestablished in 2011, Alpha Beta Chapter will always be a treasured part of our history as the 27th link in our Chain of Chapters.
