Call for Nominations: National Council 2026-2028
The voting delegates of Convention elect members of National Council 2026-2028 during the final Business Meeting. In advance of the vote, the Nominating Committee prepares a slate of qualified nominees to serve as National Council for the biennium. The committee invites all members to provide input for this process.
The following officers comprise the slate:
- National President
- Vice President Alumnae I
- Vice President Alumnae II
- Vice President Collegiate I
- Vice President Collegiate II
- Vice President Collegiate III
- Vice President Growth & Development
- Vice President Operations
- Vice President Panhellenic Relations
National Council’s role is to:
- Represent the national Fraternity.
- Adopt, amend, and implement policies of the Fraternity.
- Act as fiduciaries of the organization and exercise due diligence, care, financial responsibility, and loyalty with the best interest of the organization.
- Work with National Officer teams to support alumnae and collegiate chapters.
- Coordinate the work of International Office staff and promote interfraternal relationships.
Nominees must have the following qualifications:
- Belief in sisterhood and a commitment to ZTA
- Talent as an effective administrator, manager, and motivator
- Critical thinking skills, including the ability to define problems, evaluate solutions, establish priorities, and make decisions
- Availability to travel as needed, communicate by phone and email daily, and commit time to necessary administrative work
Updates, including title and responsibility changes, were made at Convention 2024 to three Council positions. You are encouraged to review the specific qualifications of each National Council position in this document before submitting a nomination.
Each nomination/self-nomination should include:
- Explanation of why the candidate would be well-suited for the office
- Pertinent ZTA information, including collegiate chapter; alumnae chapter; collegiate and alumnae positions held, such as advisor, National Officer or other roles
Zeta Tau Alpha members who wish to submit names and information to the committee should send their nominations by Feb. 15, 2026, to:
