Communication Awards
The following work submitted by ZTA stood out amongst the more than 750 award submissions from fraternity and sorority headquarters around the country.
First place, Publication Improvement
ZTA Foundation Impact Report
The ZTA Foundation earned first place in Publication Improvement for the transformation of its donor impact publication. This award recognizes significant enhancements to an existing multipage publication, including improvements to content, design, and presentation.
Judges praised the publication's donor-centered approach and storytelling. One judge noted that it "clearly demonstrates how donor contributions make a difference," while another added, "You didn't just improve your publication; you revolutionized it."
Second Place, Educational Resource
Summer Leadership Academy Workbook
This award recognizes educational materials that effectively inform and engage a target audience through strong content, organization, and strategic planning.
Judges praised both the resource's value and presentation. One judge described it as "AMAZING!" while another called it "visually appealing" and "clear and concise."
Second Place, Short Video Presentation
Founders' Day Proclamation
Recognizing excellence in short-form video production, this award is judged on quality, creativity and relevance to the intended audience.
Judges highlighted the video's unique storytelling approach. One judge called the use of photographs "particularly strong and creative," while another praised its "great beginning, middle, and end."
Critics' Choice for Magazine Design, Two-Page Spread
Powerful in Pink - Themis Winter 2025
This story highlights the impact of the Foundation's $1.25 million breast cancer research grant.

Unlike judged categories, Critics' Choice awards are selected by fellow FCA members, making this recognition especially meaningful among industry peers.
Third Place, Alumnae/Alumni Engagement Effort
ZTA Foundation Day of Giving
This award honors efforts to engage alumnae through creative, strategic, and measurable campaigns.
Judges described the campaign as "emotionally coherent" and "rich in tactics," while also praising its nostalgic photo-sharing element for making fundraising feel more participatory.
Third Place, Social Media Strategy and Engagement
@ZTAFraternity
This award recognizes excellence in multi-platform social media strategy, audience engagement, and measurable results.
Judges commended the team's research-driven approach, calling the campaign "polished, well-thought-out and strategically driven." Another judge praised ZTA's "accessible, resonant social media storytelling."
ZTA Alumnae on the FCA Board of Directors
During the FCA Business Meeting, two ZTA alumnae were elected to help lead the organization.
Kappa Delta Director of Marketing and Communications Heather Matthews (Delta Kappa, LSU) was elected as Director of Education.
ZTA International Office Senior Director of Digital Strategy Hailey Rogers (Delta Psi, Samford) was elected to serve as FCA's Marketing Director.
